13SIE-170 is rated 4.2857 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Major defect and dysfuction of power washer I purchased the Simpson Electric Power Washer 12SIE-170 between 2 and 3 years ago. It was very useful but just died. No sure if the motor/pump is burned out or if it needs a replacement of the microchip or condenser, each over $40 to replace and no assurance it will fix the power washer. I would expect a machine that is only used 5 or 6 time a year would last longer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sprayer Everything is great. 4 stars because I failed to get all the water out of the hose and the plastic connection inside the handle cracked. The part can't be replaced so the entire spray handle had to be ordered. Would've liked to have had the option to only buy the part I needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Washer is good but wand is not last long I bought this washer from Costco two years ago to replace Karcher. I and my wife like Simpson. It works better but after two years wand starts leaking. I ordered replacement spray gun one month ago. I was told that waiting time is 3 weeks. Until today I didn't receive a spray gun (paid in full at the time of ordering) and don't have information on status. Service of products should be better and quality of gun should be improved as well. Nick M.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Electric Washer Have owned about three gas pressure washers - this is my first electric. Pretty good power. Big fan not worrying about oil and gas. Electric cord is long enough that you probably won't need an extension cord. Two issues - plastic handle broke about the first time I picked it up. Required gorilla glue. Second - water leaking from connection between the unit and the hose nozzle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine I bought this pressure washer to do quickly and efficiently. It's my first use of a pressure washer. So far I've used it to clean my garage floor and I found it quick, efficient and easy to use. There was one minor problem in that the power hose connection is close to the garden hose connection making either connection somewhat difficult when the other is already attached. I do like this machine, though and look forward to my next use - cleaning the deck.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap parts Have owned this pressure washer for just over a year. Used a few times last summer and when I got it out this year to use water just gushes from the handle. Took apart and the plastic unit inside leaks at a seam. Can't replace just that part and have to buy a whole new wand. You would think it would last more than a couple of uses

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Most General Home Use Bought at Costco for ~$130. Been using for about 6 months. Not a problem. Great for light-medium duty work. Use for spraying down motorcycles, cars, bikes, and some misc. cleaning. Great value for an electric washer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome My other machine broke down and bought this one to replace it. The nozzles are very easily exchanged. Detergent tank very convenient. Overall excellent machine.

I have the same leak. The little O ring at the end of the wand had broken.  I replaced it with 2 smaller ones that weren't a perfect match and the wand worked great for about an hour then the leak resumed. Do I really need a whole new wand or handle?

Asked by: Steve
Its me again.  Found the proper O ring ($.32) each and it works fine so far
