MSV3024 is rated 2.0435 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delicate/Broken Pressure washer Thought I bought this pressure washer (Model #: MSV3024 P/N: 60583:) at a local Costco in Charlotte NC , a couple of years ago , I had it used it a very few times( less than 5 times). To my surprise hose inlet broke while I was moving the hose Looks like Hose water Inlet connector is too delicate. I am very unhappy with product as I expected pressure washers and other outdoor utilities like this lo be little rugged at least and durable. Now I am not sure if this is covered under my warranty or would have to spend a fortune to replace this as it looks like parts are very expensive. I do not think I can now go for a part purchase , instead I should go for a cheaper pressure washer and trash this one. Very unhappy the way it is been built and I believe I will never go for this product again. Pictures attached.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ran great 4 times and blew out! I bought this unit from Costco on 4/19/2013. I've used it four times. The engine runs great. It starts right away. The fifth time I ran it, it ran for a few minutes of continuous use. As soon as I released the handle the unit had no pressures and tarted leaking from the bottom. I turned it off and found a screw or plug was blown out and completely gone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works a couple times and then... I bought this unit from Costco in July 2013. Unfortunately, I did not try to use it this summer until after the 2 year warrantee was up. I have used it 3 times prior and have always kept it clean and lubricated (lest Simpson tries to say that my issue is related to improper maintenance). When I tried running it this last time, it ran for a little bit and then it froze up completely. The motor works fine when the pump underneath is removed - meaning the SIMPSON portion of this unit is complete junk junk and froze up - nothing to do with the Honda motor. Now I am stuck with a fantastic motor that will last years but a pump that is totally worthless. Unacceptable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stop. Do not buy this product I bought this cheap pump at Costco several years ago and have used it several times. The previous review shows exactly what happened to mine, the water inlet at the bottom of the pump is made of cheap pot-metal and breaks off easily. The replacement part on another website is $99. After 30 minutes on the phone with Simpson Tech they offered me the part for $400. After a short online study of the part diagram I new way more about this product than the service person. I gave them every opportunity to make this right but they would not stand behind their product. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pump does not work I bought mine at Costco also. Used it about 8 hours over 3 years. Engine runs, but no added pressure. It is the same with the hose running with the engine on or off. Water flows just no increased pressure which means its the pump that failed. Very disappointing to have it such a short time and it still looks new. Always stored in the garage. I see other comments on the same MSV 3024 from Costco. I would not recommend Simpson products based on this example.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pressure Loose I purchased this pressure washer 2 years ago and it has been working great until yesterday. It was running funny and smelt like something was burning. It all of a sudden lost all power. Engine still runs but no power at the wand. Any suggestions to repair sure would help. I've almost finished washing my entire house and decks. It's been a great machine. Time for some repairs to get it back up and running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serves its purpose Have used twice on concrete driveway and it quickly removes stained areas. Cleaned grill with same nozzle very quickly as well. Using different nozzle and removed oxided layer of stain from wood decking. Have not used with soap applicator bottle. Only drawback would be the size of the gas tank, though it forces me to take breaks that I probably wouldn't unless the engine stopped for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I have used this machine 3 times since I purchased it with problems from the start. Now the pump shot and the replacement part is $150+. I bought it at Costco for $299 so it's not worth fixing.

Hello, now that I have read numerous reviews saying that the pump weld is bad, is their any chance that Simpson would send me a replacement pump for the pressure washer that I purchased at Costco and worked for a total of 5 hours and now leaks?

The pump is leaking in the casting seam , it has always been stored inside with no water in it.  What is the cost of the replacement pump for this unit?  I have had it for about a year.
